I skipped ahead to Day 30 of the #Storystorm challenge–I know it doesn’t look like much but this is one of the ideas I’m planning to try to develop further. Speaking of which, now that #sketchsquall is done, it’s time to evaluate all the ideas and sketches and see which ones are worth more attention . . .

Day 27
This has only a peripheral connection to the #Storystorm idea–but that’s okay. Sometimes the defining visual is elusive.
Day 26
So this #Storystorm idea was supposed to be about frogs, but my pencil thought otherwise.
Day 25
There was no ready image for this #Storystorm idea, so I tried an exercise instead–my adult people are terrible, lol. Too much labor for not enough result!
Day 24
This borrows from an old, old story idea while tying into last month’s #Storystorm, so two birds with one . . . er . . . balloon.
Day 23
I think they’re sharing secrets? I don’t know. It’s late.
Day 22
I think small moments of discovery are what kids are all about.
Day 21
High fantasy is a little outside my wheelhouse–this is as close as I get.
Day 20
This is a pretty literal interpretation of the #Storystorm idea–maybe a cover?
Day 19
I like to say this is what it’s like to be an only child, lol.
